CLIENT PORTAL

Activate Learning Education Trust (ALET Group)

ALET Group needed a better way to manage its growing employer engagement programme across multiple schools. iConnectIT built a streamlined partner portal that replaced spreadsheets with automated scheduling, feedback collection, and real-time dashboards.

The system led to a 178% increase in activities and 259% more student interactions year-on-year. Partners now manage their own events, reducing admin time, and feedback scores from students, teachers, and partners are consistently high.

Challenge

As the ALET employer engagement programme expanded from one to four schools, the trust struggled to manage workshops and industry engagement activities efficiently. They relied on spreadsheets and email chains, which led to:

  • Inconsistent data and reporting
  • Lack of visibility for internal and external stakeholders
  • A growing administrative burden
  • Difficulty scaling as the programme grew

ALET needed a streamlined, scalable solution to manage events, partners, and feedback as their flagship employer programme evolved.

“Feedback from our partners has been overwhelmingly positive”

Solution

iConnectIT developed a tailored digital partner portal that centralised the entire process from scheduling to feedback. Key features included:

  • Event Management: A unified system to schedule and manage workshops, replacing manual spreadsheets.

  • Automated Calendar Invites: Ensured real-time scheduling updates for all stakeholders.

  • Feedback Collection: Custom forms for students, teachers, and partners created a 360° view of each event.

  • AI-Driven Summaries: Automatic PDF reports distilled qualitative feedback into actionable insights.

  • Partner Self-Service: Empowered employer partners to manage their own participation and track event history directly.

  • Live Dashboards & Reports: Offered clear, real-time metrics on participation, feedback, and engagement.

“Success in scaling delivery while improving the quality of tracking and reporting.”

Results

The portal transformed how ALET manages employer engagement across its schools. The data speaks for itself:

Quantified Growth (YoY)

  • Activities Year-to-Date (YTD):

    • Last year: 119

    • This year: 331

    • YoY growth: 178%

  • Student Interactions:

    • Last year: 2,060

    • This year: 7,398

    • YoY increase: 259%

  • Interactions recorded YTD:

    • Grew from 679 to 6,719

This demonstrates the platform’s success in scaling delivery while improving the quality of tracking and reporting.

🎯  Total Activities Managed:

  • 696 across all time (as of the report snapshot)

Partner & Staff Feedback

While the number of administrative hours saved hasn’t been formally tracked, anecdotal evidence is overwhelmingly positive. Employer partners have consistently expressed how much they appreciate the ability to manage their engagement directly through the portal, reducing the need for back-and-forth communication.

From the feedback collected:

  • Student Feedback Average: Agree

  • Teacher & Partner Feedback Average: Strongly Agree

This shows not only operational success but also that the programme continues to deliver meaningful, valued experiences for students and partners alike.

Conclusion

The ALET Partner Portal is a clear example of how thoughtful digital transformation can enable scale without compromising quality. By automating administrative processes and improving stakeholder visibility, the programme has become more efficient, more data-driven, and ultimately more impactful.
